Production Control Processes
Hammam Towel Warmers and Radiators are suitable for your system like all radiators working with standard hot water system. You can replace your radiators and towel warmers, which are connected to your existing hot water system, with Hammam Radiator and Towel Warmers.
The point to be considered in this regard is that the connection axis of the towel warmer or radiator you will replace (also expressed as the distance from the connection center to the other connection center or the distance from the middle of one valve to the middle of the other valve) must be compatible with the product you will choose. Otherwise, you will have to make modification on the outlets of your installation.
Sample:
Water inlet and outlet placement of your towel warmer will be determined according to where your water installation pipes come out (from wall or from ground). There are two constants here. One is the connection distance of your design towel warmer or design radiator (depends on the model, product), and the other is the distance of the pipe outlets of your domestic installation. It is necessary to overlap these two constants with each other.
Information on this subject can be found by checking the technical drawing in the picture section of each of our products (K (axis) dimension given in the technical drawing refers to the connection axis).
If you are in the process of renovating your bathroom or home or looking for products for your newly built house, you are lucky!! You can freely choose to experience the comfort of Hammam in your home. For this, the best thing to do is to choose your decorative radiator or decorative towel warmer model before starting the plumbing renovation. Thus, the connection distance of your installation can be adjusted according to the selected towel rail or radiator.
Contrary to the general belief, the connection distance is not the same in all towel warmer or radiator models. The connection axes can vary greatly from model to model, from manufacturer to manufacturer. Both the installation outlets and the connection distances in every house are not the same. In addition, the connection axis differences exceeding 1 cm in total, may prevent you from mounting the product. You can find the connection distance (Axis=K) specific to the selected model in our catalogs and websites. (hammamonline.com or hammamradiator.com.tr). For this, it will be sufficient to visit the page of the relevant model. It is necessary to share this information with your plumber or architect to ensure that the correct plumbing axis is maintained before the renovation is complete.
Water inlet and outlet placement of your towel warmer will be determined according to where your water installation pipes come out (from wall or from ground). Connection distance (axis distance) is the distance from the center to the center of the pipe outlets of your installation at home. If you already have a product installed, you can measure the distance between your existing valves from center to center.
This is an important point to be considered if you will replace an existing towel warmer. Contrary to the general belief, the connection distances (connection axes) of decorative radiators or decorative towel warmers are not the same. The connection axes can vary greatly from model to model, from manufacturer to manufacturer. Connection axis differences exceeding 1 cm in total may prevent you from assembling the product.
In order to achieve the most efficient heating in towel warmers, water inlet and outlet should be made from the bottom.

Our Hammam design radiators are produced in accordance with the following connection types. However, for the last two connection types, Compact Connection and Compact Thermostatic Connection, holes must be drilled in your radiator according to the water inlet-outlet direction in your home installation and additional accessories must be purchased for thermostatic connection.

The connection piece between the plumbing pipe in your house and your Hammam Radiator or towel warmer is the radiator valve. It will not be possible to make connections (other materials such as mini ball valve or H valve can also be used) without valves, which can be found in different functions and types. 2 valves are required for each towel warmer or each radiator.
Valves are not standard, because the diameter and layout of the plumbing pipes in every house (they can come out of the wall or the floor) are not same. If you want to choose your valves yourself, we will give you detailed information below. However, you can experience the comfort of Hammam by choosing ‘’Valve Packages’’ which are “compatible with every system”. You can see the suggested Valve package matched to the design and color of your model directly under the model you choose on our online site.
When choosing your valve, you need to answer two questions separately.
**Is the valve ½” (half finger)? or PeX? You should choose a valve that is compatible with your plumbing pipe.
If your Plumbing Pipe is PeX Pipe = 16 mm → you should choose PeX valve.
If the diameter of your Plumbing pipe is ½” (half finger) = 21.3 mm → your valve should be ½” (half finger).
If your installation pipe diameter is different from these two values, consult your plumber.
** Is Valve Corner? Should it be straight? If a 90° angle between the two mouths is required to connect your radiator with the plumbing pipe in your house, you should choose a corner valve.
Sample:
If an angle of 180° between the two mouths is required to connect your radiator with the plumbing pipe in your home, you should choose your valve straight.

Valves should be chosen according to the diameter of the plumbing pipe in your home, the angle between the pipe and towel warmer or radiator and according to the connection type of the towel warmer or radiator you choose. Making this choice may seem difficult or confusing. Our valve packages include valves that will be compatible with your radiator in a model and color, as well as with any connection diameter, saving you from a confused selection. If the workmanship is not clean, unpleasant images may occur on the wall where your plumbing pipe comes out. Our valve packages also contain the necessary wall covers to cover the unaesthetic images on your wall. You can easily complete your work with Hammam!
**This is a visual representation, the shape or surface of the valve varies for each Radiator or Towel Warmer model.
Our Hammam Valve Package consists of 4 components:
Valve: While preparing the Hammam Valve Package, your package is prepared by choosing the most suitable valve model for the surface and form (square or round) of your products specially matched by our industrial designers.
You don’t have to worry about whether your valve is compatible with the model you have chosen!
Pex adapter: The valve in your Hammam Valve Package is ½” (half finger). Your valve package also includes a PeX adapter in case your plumbing has a Pex connection. This piece is the converter that will convert the half finger valve into a PeX plumbing connection. If your connection is PPRC, you will not need to use this adapter.
Is your installation PPRC? PeX? You don’t have to think!
Hammam 3 Notched Pipe Closure: Hammam 3 Notched Pipe Closure serves to hide the pipe or extension piece between your installation and your valve. While designing the Hammam 3 Notched Pipe Closure, 3 notch sizes were determined considering the wall pipe distance that can fit to all Hammam products. The purpose of notching is to obtain a clean shape by cutting the piece in the size you need comfortably and properly from the notches or breaking it with additional apparatus. Compatible with Pex and PPRC pipe. While your Hammam Valve Package is being prepared, your Hammam 3-notch Pipe Closure has been prepared in such a way that the Hammam model you have chosen will match the surface.
As you can see in the diagram below, you can get parts of 15, 18, 22, 27, 33, 40, 49, 55, 67 and 82 mm. You can choose which of these dimensions you need according to the distance between your valve and the wall. You can adjust the small gaps of a few mm after your pipe trap by opening and closing the bracket distance of your radiator.
You don’t have to worry about whether my pipes will be exposed!
Hammam Wall Cover : Hammam Wall Cover has been designed by our industrial designers in a special geometry that can adapt to both square and round shaped valves and radiators. The purpose of use of this cover is to hide the deformations on the wall and to save your wall from visual pollution.
You don’t have to worry about deformations on your wall!
Complete with Hammam.
Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) is an automatic radiator valve used instead of manually controlled radiator valves in radiator heating systems. It consists of a sensor and valve body. Each number on the thermostatic radiator valve sensor corresponds to the room temperature that can be adjusted in degrees.
TRV constantly senses the room temperature and automatically adjusts the amount of water going to the radiator to keep the room temperature constant at the desired value. When the room temperature reaches the set value, TRV cuts off the hot water entering the radiator, and allows the hot water to enter the radiator when the room temperature drops below the set value. In this way, the Thermostatic Radiator Valve allows you to adjust the room temperature at the desired value, keep it constant and re-adjust it when desired.
Thermostatic Radiator Valves prevent unnecessary heating by sensing the effects of the heat emitted from external (sun, etc.) and internal (people in the environment, working electrical devices, etc.) sources. Considering that every 1°C increase in room temperature means 6% more energy consumption, it provides energy savings of up to 30% by preventing unnecessary heating.
Correct Usage Advice:
The numbers on the sensor show the room temperature set values. The desired room temperature can be set by turning the sensor. A certain maximum temperature value can be set at the beginning and then the Thermostatic Valve setting can be adjusted by decreasing 1 °C every day until the comfort temperature is reached.
Towel warmers and radiators are shipped with mounting kits (wall mounting brackets) that will enable them to be mounted on the wall. However, since valves and pipe closures vary according to the installation selection, they must be purchased separately. You cannot assemble without these parts.
Radiators and towel rails are heavy items and assembly operations should be done by observing all safety conditions and rules. The features of the wall to be assembled, whether there will be an additional load on it, and the selection of a safe mounting method should be made by competent experts. Although the dowels and screws in the assembly kit are the best quality products suitable for many wall types, they may not be suitable for your existing conditions. In such cases, the selection of suitable screws and dowels should be done by a competent installer.
Radiators should be installed in the coldest part of the place where they are used. If you install your radiator under the window where the heat loss is highest, you can prevent the effect of the cold air coming from outside by rising of the hot air heated by your radiator and provide a temperature close to homogeneity in the room. If you have towel rails that you will use in your bathroom, mounting them close to the bathtub or sink will provide ease of use to reach your hot towels. The recommended installation height of your radiator and towel warmers is 15-20 cm above the ground.
We recommend you to choose your radiator or towel warmer before starting any renovation or repair work in your home. Thus, before you lay your ceramics or finish your plaster/paint, your installer will be able to do the pipework according to the chosen radiator or towel warmer. If you want, you can have your radiator or towel warmer installed after all the processes are finished.
